Safari doesn't one-tap install — here's the three-step shuffle.

iOS Safari never fires a system install prompt, so the home-screen add is a manual share-sheet route. The icon lands on your home screen, the camera opens without the browser bar, and previously-scanned products load instantly.

    Tap the Share button in Safari

    Open this page in Safari and tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing up) in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

    Scroll to “Add to Home Screen”

    In the share sheet that appears, swipe the action row down until you see “Add to Home Screen”. Tap it.

    Tap Add in the top-right

    Confirm the suggested name (Ingreedin) and tap Add in the upper-right. The Ingreedin icon will land on your home screen in seconds.

Android · Chrome

A native install prompt — no APK, no sideloading.

Chrome on Android surfaces the system install banner automatically once you visit this page. Tap once, the Ingreedin icon joins the rest of your apps, and updates ship silently in the background.

  2. 2Confirm the install prompt — Android Chrome asks once per visit.
  3. 3Open Ingreedin from the home screen — it launches in full-screen with no browser bar.

Desktop · Chrome / Edge

Pin Ingreedin to a desktop shortcut.

Same scanning, same ingredient score, opened in its own window. Useful if you sit at a desk in front of a webcam for office-snack or supplement research.

  1. 1Look for the install icon in the right edge of Chrome’s address bar (a small monitor with a down arrow).
  2. 2Click “Install” when the prompt appears.
  3. 3Ingreedin opens as its own window — pin it to your taskbar for one-click access from a desktop shortcut.
